Founded in 1927 as ‘Ever Ready Association’ this club got promoted to CFL top division in 1995.Then In the year 2004 USC got the qualifications for I league 2nd division and on 2007 finally got promoted to I league and since then this club has won IFA shield two times(2013,2015),runner up two times( 2005,2011) ,won Durand cup (2010), runner up(2011),Federation Cup (semifinalist , 2011), I league (4th on 2013-14)and been playing in the CFL top division ever since. Some of the greatest players of our country like captain Sunil Chhetri, Deepak Mondal ,Subrata Paul , Lalkamal Bhowmik, Gourmangi Singh, Sangram Mukherjee .Legendary foreigners like Ranti Martins, Yusif Yakubu along with Costa Rican World cupper Carlos Hernandez has served this club. Top foreign Coaches Like Eelco Schattorie, Remco Boere and Indian Legendary Coaches like Amal Dutta, Subrata Bhattacharya, Sanjoy Sen has coached us. We are committed to the Development of football and have been successfully nurturing the talents in our various youth teams.
